Are participants in the Vehicles by themselves?

No, there will be an Instructor in the vehicle when he is driving. 

The Instructor and Driver will talk to each other through an intercom in the helmets.  

The purpose of the Instructor is to get him driving to the best of his ability and get him going quicker then he ever thought he would be able to. 

All of our Instructors have or are currently competing in the Australian Off Road Racing Championship so you won't find anyone any better to teach you the skills of driving!

Are the vehicles manual or automatic?

All of our vehicles are manual cars

  • V8 Race Buggy has a 4 speed H pattern Race Gearbox  
  • YXZ Race Buggy has a sequential 5 speed gear Gear box (Like a motorcycle gearbox)
  • WRX's has a 5 speed gearbox

Even if you can not drive or haven’t driven a manual before, our instructors can either teach you how to do the gears or do the gears for you. 


Can I extend my voucher?

All vouchers must be BOOKED and COMPLETED by the expiry date on the vouchers. 

We do not offer any extensions on our vouchers.

Can I upgrade my drive package on the day?

You are welcome to upgrade your drive package – subject to availability on the day & and you can pay the difference on the day. 

Just ask us at the registration desk on the day.

Can the kids and I come and watch? Anything that spectators and drivers need to know?

Yes! You are welcome to come and watch. Our spectator areas are child friendly.

You will be able to see sections of the track to watch your driver. Hot laps and extra drives are also available for spectators, enquire on the day at the registration desk.

Do Drivers need a driving licence?

Subaru WRX

We take participants from the age of 12 years so we do not require any drivers licence to be produced for this vehicle.

Yamaha YXZ

Participants must be 16 years of age to drive this vehicle.

V8 Buggy

Drivers must be at least 17 years old and hold a "P Plate licence". Must have some knowledge of manual transmission. Licence must be produced on arrival at track.

How do I rebook if my experience was cancelled due to weather?

Sometimes our events get cancelled due to the weather, or the track not been available to us.

Please email bookings@offroadrushsydney.com.au your original booking number requesting to rebook, and we will reply to your request with new dates that are available.

All rebookings must be rebooked & completed within 12 months of the original bookings experience. We do not extent these expiry dates.

Is there any accommodation facilities close by?

What are your current Terms and Conditions?

We welcome you to the Off Road Rush Sydney V8 Race Buggy/ WRX / YXZ Driving Experiences

All persons attending the Driving Experience (including drivers and their guests) are subject to these listed Terms and Conditions below. These terms and conditions may change without notice.

All drivers are required to sign Electronic "Off Road Rush Sydney" Waiver of Liability. 
(If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian will be required to sign waiver on your behalf. Please contact us in the office prior to your drive experience if you are under age.)

Every Customer & Passenger are required to show photo ID at check-in. 


Photo ID must have a current Australia Address. Any person/s who are not able to provide this on the day, will not be able to be drive or be a passenger is any vehicle. If you do not have this, please contact the office prior to your experience.


We offer no refunds . We DO NOT refund or RESCHEDULE for no shows.


Off Road Rush Sydney reserves the right the change Pricing, Session times and dates without notice. We will work with you to reschedule your drive within 90 days of your experience.


Participants are advised to make their own travel insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellations due to the weather etc. If you book accommodation or flights please check the cancellation policy as we do not offer compensation for this.


Off Road Rush Sydney product vouchers are non refundable. Product gift vouchers from our website are valid for 12 months. All Product Gift Vouchers - must be booked and the drive completed prior to the expiry date. We do not offer extension on any product gift vouchers.


Off Road Rush Sydney offers SD Recordings on site at each track. SD cards can be purchased at sign in from each track. We don't allow the use of customers personal go-pro/sd cards in or on the cars. However, your friends and family can record/see your drive from all our tracks from our spectator area's


Off Road Rush Sydney has a weight and height restriction. Our maximum weight for all cars is 130kg, and our maximum height is 201cm. If you are over these restrictions -please contact the office prior to the purchase of your voucher.


As Off Road Rush Sydney is a driving experience any drivers who are clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be unable to participate and will be asked to leave. Random testing is done onsite at the track at registration.

Off Road Rush Sydney reserves the right to breathalyse any participants we deem to be under the influence of alcohol. This applies to group bookings also. There is to be no alcohol or drugs taken or used at our locations. 

You are welcome to bring friends and family with you to watch you drive. Our tracks are family friendly and are safe for young children, but it's up to you to look after them at all times while on the property's.

It's is advisable that you bring with you some snacks and drinks as at our locations there are no catering facilities. 


Cancellation / Rebooking / Changes
1. Once this experience has been booked, it is a confirmed booking and is subject to the charges below


2. If you wish to re-booking/change the date your experience, a rebooking fee of $55 per person will apply. You must rebook & complete your experience within 90 days. We don’t allow any changes 14 days prior to your event. 


4. All Groupon  & Scoopon bookings - vouchers are redeemed with ORRS when your booking is confirmed with us


5. If your experience is re-booked due to medical reasons, equipment failure, weather cancellations a new voucher will be issued and must be rebooked within 90 days of your original booking.  If this voucher is not used, the voucher will then become void.


6. If you are unable to make your booking due to Medical Reasons, please contact us directly to discuss before the event. A medical Certificate & a rebooking fee of $55 will be required to rebook.  We accept medical certificates up to 48 hours prior to your experience. 


7. Off Road Rush Sydney can operate in most weather conditions. In the case of extreme weather, or an unsafe track  where you cannot complete your drive we will reschedule you for another date and time within 90 days of your experience. We do not offer refunds in the case of bad weather, or unsafe track conditions, however we will reschedule you with in 90 days.


8. In the unlikely event of mechanical or operational issues and you cannot complete your drive on the day booked we will reschedule you to another day suitable to you. We do not offer refunds as a result of mechanical or operational issues.


9. In the event of minimum numbers not been reached for the day, we reserve the right to reschedule your booking. We will reschedule you to another day suitable within a 3 month period. We do not offer refunds as a result of operational issues

What if Im sick on the day and can not make it?

From time to time people get sick and are unable to do there drive experience. If this happens to you please contact us on our phone 0409-932851 or if at Sydney (Colo Park) please try 02-4565 0011

You must make contact with us at least 4 hours prior to your booking, no contact will be marked as a no show.

A medical certificate will be required to rebook, and rebooking fee of $55 will be required.

However you are also able to send someone else to take your place on the day as well, if you require this, please call us to let us know prior to your booking

What is a Hot Lap or passenger Ride?

Hot Laps are where you go as a passenger in the buggy and our Instructors drive you!  You get to join in the fun as well.

Heaps of fun also! These are also available for purchase on the day, time permitting, if you are coming as a spectator.

We take passengers from the age of 7 years to Old!

Driver & Passenger Requirements

Are there any indemnity forms for me to complete if I am participating in Off Road Rush activities?

Yes!   This is an important document, which affects your legal rights and obligations. 

If you are a participant, we ask that you read it carefully and do not sign unless you are satisfied with its content. 

Before signing this document you should ensure that you fully understand its contents. If you are in any doubt about the document, you should obtain legal advice.

This document is signed on an ipad onsite, on the day.

If you are under 18 years of age, you will not be able to sign yourself in, so please insure that you bring a parent or guardian with you on the day as they will need to sign you in.

Do you have height or weight restrictions?

V8 BUGGY

We can take a driver who weighs up to 130kg and up to approx. 201cm (6ft 8 in) tall.  


Subaru WRX & Yamaha YXZ

We can take a driver who weighs up to 130kg and up to approx. 190cm (6ft 3 in) tall.

-If you have a booking and are over the height or weight restriction, you must contact Off Road Rush Sydney prior to your booking.



Video Recording Information

Can we have the Drive and Hot Laps recorded?

YES - you can purchase a recording on a GO PRO camera that is mounted on all cars. 

This cost is $50 per person, and this can be arranged at checkin on the day

You will be given the SD card to take home with you after your drive on the day.

Terms and Conditions for SD Cards Sold

SD CARD – TERMS AND CONDITION OF PURCHASE WITH

OFF ROAD RUSH SYDNEY

  1. YOU are required to give this SD card to our Staff member when you do your drive and your Hot Lap
  2. Our Staff will start and stop your recordings each time you hop into a vehicles
  3. If you loose your card while at Off Road Rush- we will not give you another card, you will need to purchase another SD card.
  4. If your drive does not records for some reason, You will be required to post back the SD card for us to check.
  5. If NO footage has recorded we will refund the purchase of the SD card of $50.00
  6. If you do not return your SD card to us, we will not refund the purchase of the card.
  7. You are only able to use SD cards that are purchased from ORRS
  8. We dont allow you to use your own Gopro in or on our cars, this included chest mounts, and helmet camera's
